Dear diary,
It was the worst. I thought they told me this place would be some sort of home, a place where I would be protected... Isn’t that what a school is supposed to be ?
They keep lying to me ! All of them !
How is it that getting yourself locked up, your hair pulled, cut, seeing your classmate get hit and insulted is normal here ?
I want to run away.

This morning a girl named Martha kindly helped me around the school so that I would be able to navigate by myself without struggling...
All my expectations were wrong. First thing in the morning I learned a schoolmate got locked up because of insulting the teacher or whatnot, Martha told me it was to be expected. I am perplexed by the excessive punishments.

Then I had to look around the ruined offices of the school. The dormitory was cold, moist, and very… unwelcoming, even the classrooms and teachers were awful...
I hate it here, once again I am going to live hell on earth to simply survive.
The short classes I had were only about how great the British people were, and how we were wrong for not being like them, and if we dare say a word, like I did, you’d get hit hard on the head then insulted by the ‘teachers’, it’s so unfair.
I hope this all ends soon enough. I am so scared for the future.
